For a university project I had the chance to design my own font. As I am a book worm, the font Garamond, which is a classic font in books, has always been one of my favorites. It was my goal to create a modern font based on Garamond and add a personal note – the font Grauwert Serif was born. I designed a regular and an italic font.
As the Reclam book series is a paramount example for the use of Garamond, I used their layout to present Grauwert Serif.
